Summary

We collect the information you choose to give us, such as your name, company, work email, phone number and the content of your message, along with limited technical information collected automatically when you use the site. We use it to respond to you, to provide and market our services, to operate and secure the website, and to meet our legal obligations. We do not sell personal information. If you have questions or concerns about this notice or our practices, contact us at info@oncallcompliance.com.

This notice also applies to the specialized practice websites operated by On Call Computer Solutions LLC, except where a site publishes its own notice.

1. What information do we collect?

Information you disclose to us. We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you submit a contact or meeting-request form, request information, subscribe to communications, or otherwise contact us. Depending on how you interact with us, this may include:

  • Name, job title and company name
  • Work email address and phone number
  • The area of interest you select and anything you write in a message field
  • Event or campaign details, when you reach us through a trade show or campaign page

All personal information you provide must be true, complete and accurate, and you should notify us of any changes.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site we automatically collect certain technical information, which does not by itself reveal your specific identity. This includes IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, pages viewed and the dates and times of visits, and approximate location derived from your IP address. We collect this information through cookies, log files and similar technologies, including the HubSpot tracking code and the security and performance services of our hosting and content-delivery providers.

2. How do we use your information?

We process your information for the purposes described below, relying on our legitimate business interests, the performance of a contract with you, your consent, and compliance with our legal obligations.

  • To respond to your inquiries and requests, including scheduling meetings you ask for
  • To provide, administer and improve our services and our relationship with you
  • To send marketing and promotional communications about our practices, events and resources, which you can opt out of at any time
  • To deliver targeted information and measure the effectiveness of our marketing
  • To analyze usage trends, improve the website and protect it against fraud, abuse and security threats
  • To comply with applicable law, respond to legal process and protect our rights

3. Will your information be shared with anyone?

We only share information in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as customer relationship management and marketing automation (HubSpot), website hosting, content delivery and security, and analytics. These providers may access your information only to perform those services and are obligated to protect it.
  • Compliance with law, when we are legally required to do so, including to respond to a court order, subpoena or governmental request.
  • Vital interests and legal rights, where we believe disclosure is necessary to investigate or prevent violations of our policies, suspected fraud, threats to the safety of any person, or illegal activity, or as evidence in litigation.
  • Business transfers, in connection with or during negotiations of a merger, sale of company assets, financing or acquisition of all or part of our business.
  • With your consent, for any other purpose you have agreed to.

We have not sold personal information to third parties for a business or commercial purpose in the preceding twelve months, and we do not sell personal information.

4. Do we use cookies and other tracking technologies?

We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies, such as web beacons and pixels, to access or store information. These help the site function, remember your preferences, understand how the site is used and connect your form submissions to your record in our CRM. Most browsers let you refuse or remove cookies through their settings; doing so may affect certain features of the site.

5. How long do we keep your information?

We keep your personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law, such as for tax, accounting or other legal requirements. No purpose in this notice will require us to keep your personal information for longer than one year. When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your information, we will delete or anonymize it, or, if that is not possible because it is held in backup archives, securely store it and isolate it from further processing until deletion is possible.

6. How do we keep your information safe?

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the personal information we process. However, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise that unauthorized third parties will never be able to defeat our safeguards. You should only access the site within a secure environment.

7. Do we collect information from minors?

The site is intended for business audiences and we do not knowingly collect data from or market to anyone under 18 years of age. If we learn that personal information from a user under 18 has been collected, we will delete it promptly. If you become aware of any such data, please contact us at info@oncallcompliance.com.

8. What are your privacy rights?

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us at info@oncallcompliance.com. You will still receive service-related messages necessary to administer your relationship with us.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will consider and act on your request in accordance with applicable law.

9. Controls for Do-Not-Track features

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature. No uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized, so we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals. If a standard is adopted that we must follow, we will update this notice.

10. Do California residents have specific privacy rights?

If you are a resident of California, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, gives you specific rights regarding your personal information. In the preceding twelve months we have collected the following categories of personal information: identifiers (such as name, email address, phone number and IP address); professional or employment-related information (such as company and job title); commercial information about your inquiries and our interactions; and Internet or similar network activity (such as browsing behavior on our site). We collect this information from you directly and automatically through the site, and use and share it as described in sections 2 and 3.

You have the right to:

  • Request to know what personal information we have collected, used, shared or sold about you, including the categories and sources of the information and the business purpose for collecting it
  • Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal exceptions
  • Request correction of inaccurate personal information
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising your rights

To exercise these rights, contact us at info@oncallcompliance.com or 757-695-9903. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and you may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. California Civil Code Section 1798.83 also permits California residents to request information about our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes once a year; we do not make such disclosures.

If we make material changes, we may notify you by prominently posting a notice or by sending you a direct notification. We encourage you to review this notice frequently.
